It is a way that we can configure your storage units. We generally recommend RAID 1 or RAID 10 as they will mirror the data between multiple storage units for redundancy purposes. For example, 2 x 1 TB HDD in RAID 1 will offer around 1 TB of storage capacity. A RAID 10 configuration (minimum 4 storage units) will provide better performance as it will distribute the write and read operations across different storage units. Not sure what you should choose? Private cloud hosting

Although the public cloud platform is scalable and flexible, the noisy neighbour is still a real problem in this type of environment. Dedicated servers offer a single tenant environment where resources are dedicated to a single user or a single enterprise, but offer no scalability or flexibility. The private cloud offers the best of both worlds: increased flexibility, security, and performance optimization in a single environment.

Prices may vary depending on the utilization, the risk management (redundancy), the hardware required, the license fee and the level of management. Contact one of our sales consultants to get a quote now.

At least three compute nodes are required to get a Private Cloud infrastructure with GloboTech. Depending on your technical requirements, more nodes might be needed. Contact GloboTech to ensure that your private cloud is suited for your needs.

To get High Availability for your private cloud infrastructure, you must have complete redundancy for your control plane, compute (load attribution), networking, and storage. GloboTech already provide 99.99% network and power uptime for any of their services (SLAs).

SSL Certificate

An SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate is a digital security feature that encrypts data exchanged between a user's browser and a website's server. This ensures that sensitive information, like passwords or credit card details, remains private and secure during transmission. When a website has an SSL certificate, users see "https://" in the URL along with a padlock icon, indicating a secure connection. In addition to protecting data, SSL certificates authenticate the website’s identity and boost its credibility, while also contributing to better search engine rankings.

Using an SSL certificate for your domain ensures that data transmitted between your website and users is encrypted, protecting sensitive information like passwords and payment details. It also builds trust by showing visitors that your site is secure, as indicated by the padlock icon and "https://" in the URL. Additionally, having an SSL certificate can improve your search engine rankings, as search engines favor secure websites.

A Premium SSL certificate offers enhanced protection through stronger encryption and additional security features. It provides higher validation levels, such as Extended Validation (EV), which verifies the legitimacy of your business and displays a green address bar or company name in the URL. Premium SSLs often come with warranty coverage, protecting you financially in case of a data breach. They also offer better customer support and more comprehensive security options, like wildcard SSLs that secure multiple subdomains, providing broader protection for your website.

Installing an SSL certificate typically takes just a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the type of certificate and the hosting platform. For basic Domain Validated (DV) SSL certificates, the process is often quick and can be completed in minutes, as it only requires verifying domain ownership. More advanced certificates, like Organization Validated (OV) or Extended Validation (EV) SSLs, may take several hours to a few days, as they require additional business verification before installation.
